🌻🌻 The children were thrilled to walk among the sunflowers as they died back for winter, soaking in the air. But it wasn’t just about the sights—Phil, the farm's expert, took the kids on a fascinating journey of learning about biodiversity. 🐝🐞🌼 He explained how each plant and insect plays a role in keeping the environment healthy and balanced, sparking curiosity in everyone!
But the adventure didn’t stop there! They also learnt about maize plants 🌽. The children were amazed at how tall the maize grows and learned about how it’s planted and harvested each year. They discovered how different crops help keep the soil healthy and support the farm's ecosystem. 🌾🦋
As a special treat, the children were each given sunflower heads and Maize plants to take home, ready to plant their own beautiful flowers next year! 🌻🌱 What a wonderful way to remember their fun-filled day at the farm and continue learning about nature.
